You might want to check out Counts Kustoms. They have a website; google it as they have there address and even a map I think.
also, So-Cal Speed Shop, Tuckers Classic Auto Parts in Henderson. better off renting a small rental car for a day or two instead of using Taxi. likely you will win enough money to buy a cool ride while you are there.
Forget about using a cab, you will do better with the slot machines. Rent a car. Checkout the Imperial Palace, Ricks Restorations & The Caruso Racing Museum located above Micar Fabrication, 5166 South Arville. Lots of cheap beer on Fremont Street.
And might as well check out Pick-A-Part (junkyards) too while your here. Most on North Lamb just before you run into I-15.
Look up Steve at welder up.Axel is doing a rockabilly .- music -.tattoo -car show next sat. At south point casino take the advise rent a car .
Not much out in these parts. Go see Lenny jr at so cal. If your into the tv shows go check out ricks restorations and counts customs. As for cheap beers and old bars go to Dino's or Frankie's tiki bar. Be ready for a lovely 105 to 115 degree weather. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Yep, get a rental car. The best things to see in the valley are not on the strip. My favorite discovery has been Eldorado Canyon or "Techaticup". The road dead ends at the Colorado river south of Boulder City and downstream of Boulder Dam. There is an old gold mine there that used to give tours. There's a general store and a bunch of old junk worth seeing. It is where they filmed the scene in 3,000 Miles to Graceland where Kevin Costnr blew up the gas station with the airplane on top. They have rebuilt the gas station. There are some open mines you can explore from the gravfel road beyond, and there are some old cars in the arroyos, incluidng some mid-late 30's convertible bodies.
Hey hotrod coupe I didn't know there was a racing muceum out on s. arville ave. And I live here in Vegas.lol. Yea the Imperial palace museum is pretty cool. Too bad it just so damn hot. Rent a car. you'll be buck ahead. So-cal shop is pretty cool as are the guys that work there. Friday nights there usually is a little cruise thing out on northe rAncho at the Dairy Queen at Cheyne or is it craig and N. rancho road. It'll be hot. Sun.Morn EARLY like 630am or so guys start assembling out on North'Rancho Rd. andRainbow ave it located across the Rancho rd from the Sante Fe Casino. Usually about 75 - 80 cars of all kinds assemble there. Small swap meet going on also. It's usually all over by about 10.30 am as the church there starts their services. Sat.MOrn over on the other side of the valley is coffe and cars located on south Eastern ave and Serene ave. My impression is it's more upscale cars but it's a mix also. Wed MOrn like 6am at the Thunderbird lounge theres a bunch of really cool cars that gather there. It's located at like the on So Eastern ave just So of the 215 freeway. Thats about all I can think of but I know theres more. CHeck out the bullentin board at the So-cal Shop. YRUHOT..........Doug
