Hello HAMB Members, I am posting this information here to keep any HAMB members from getting "burned" by either purchasing this vehicle or its components. It's more of a BOLO "Be On the Look Out" than anything else. It's not exactly HAMB material but not really OT either. My goal is to have the vehicle returned to the owner. Getting the bad guy is secondary (but appreciated). Riverside Police Department Case #P13-075-615 During the late evening hours of 05/28/13 unknown suspects forced entry into the business located at 5965 Fremont St, in the city and county of Riverside, CA 92505 and took the above vehicle from inside the business. No suspects were seen or heard and the security system was inoperable or disabled at the time of the theft. It appears the vehicle was specifically targeted over the long holiday weekend. Riverside Police Detectives are looking for any information that will lead to the recovery of the vehicle and identification of the suspects. Black/Cherry 1937 Chevy Deluxe 2DR Sedan CA Lic #6HMC158 Serial #21GA1216118.>> Stock grey velour interior. Original 215 engine painted grey converted to 12V w/electronic ignition. There is an unknown brand CD player hidden from view in the glove box. The vehicle is good running condition and was only in the shop to have turn signals installed. I know you guys will have theories on what took place and where to look etc. Believe me, we are looking at everything. But as I said, I don't want you guys to get burned if this thing gets offered up for sale. The HAMB has helped find cars before so I thought I'd give it a shot. (See, and some of you guys think cops don't care...and "yes", I do love me some donuts). Det. The only reason I carry a gun is... a cop it too heavy! You guys are overworked and under paid, stay safe! g
Thanks for the help guys. I'll keep you posted and let you know when and if it is recovered. Also, it is not my intent to abuse the board or Ryan's generosity. I support the HAMB fully and I'm actually a long(ish) time Alliance Member under another user name. I just want to keep my personal ID and work ID separate for obvious reasons. Thanks again for the help. The HAMB is the best! Terry
I'll keep an eye out up in the Yakima valley of Wa as it seems there a lot of people who tend to run back and forth from that area of California to this area of Wa on a regular basis. I just happen to live on one of the main north/south routes.
Bump for those attending the LA Roadster Show in P Town this weekend. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
