Ive been searching all the parts places I can think of, even looked at some Ford truck forums. Do any of you Ford truck guys know where I can get plain repro steel bumpers front and rear (Unibody)? I just want one I can paint, I don't want chrome.

Also looking for dash accessory bezels repro. I'm finding the knobs, but not the bezels. Mines missing the ignition.

    Thanks for any tips.

Rockauto has them for the front for about $80 for a "primed" one. I think they are the same bumper from 1961 all the way to 1977. The part number they had was from 1964. The rear one will be harder to find.

I would think Dennis Carpenter or Bob Drake would have the bezels.

I buy a lot of my parts from Rockauto. You do have to watch the shipping as they ship from different warehouses and that can drive up shipping cost sometimes. But they'll usually beat the local OReilly or CARQUEST price including shipping if you aren't needing the part right away.

They had the floor pans for my Falcon Ranchero and the carpet along with most any mechanical part you may ever need. Shipping is usually quick but I don't know fast to the left coast. I've ordered on Sunday and had my order by the next weekend.

Try Macs, Sacramento Vintage Ford, LMC Truck, Dennis Carpenter, National Parts Depot, Obsolete and Cl***ic Auto Parts, The Truck Shop. All of these companies have free catalogs and tons of parts. Good luck

Thanks for all of these. Looks like they all only offer chrome. And the Truck Shop looks to be only for Chevy (which I also have). Ill have to make some calls, maybe some of these places can get plain, but just dont list them. Although they do list plain and chrome for some of the earlier years.

I hate to pay the price of a chrome bumper only to have to strip it.

Also it looks like 61-63 are the same, no other years are a match.

Forgot to add Rockauto didnt pan out either (rats)

61-66 fronts should be the same or mighty close. Rears will be tougher as most often they were a dealer add on. I have no rear on mine, and havent spotted a rear that i liked enough to put on it.

The rear model 66 (uni)bumper and brackets are reproduced. This bumper is the same as used on the 57 to 60 series trucks.

The Front bumper is a three bolt type and reproduced. Fits 61 to 63 trucks wether model 66 or model 81 conventional.

Later 64 to 79 use a two bolt bumper.

I would recommend blue oval or the car and truck shop of orange as they are in California and not on the other side of the country like Carpenter or Macs. They all sell the same parts.

A front bumper off a early 70's pick up is a close match. This has two mounting holes instead of three but you can make that work with out drilling new holes.

Ill have to check out the new leads you guys have given me tonight after work. Im finding plenty of them out there except they are all chrome, I just want plain steel so I can paint it.

Ill check ebay too. I dont think Ive ever purchased anything there. I did sell a few items many years ago.

anything off of a 67 or later while it looks the same, is different on the ends. the earlier ones 61-66, curve more to match the body. the repros are actually the later style and are not correct for the earlier trucks either.

i have had the most luck finding bare steel ones on c-list. the chrome ones seem to be scarce used.

    good luck man
