Well you see as it is, there are some dumpsters behind a certain "facility" and with the help of fellow BSM brother Scott Williams they are ***embling the first 3w before anyone else does...

    More to follow... stay tuned

Ha Ha Ha, I don't think I'd let the cat out of the bag yet until I had all the pieces. They may lock the dumpster up now!

I'm sure it's a dumb question to those who know, but is there a '32 3-window steel body available? Is this what you guys are working on making?

I want to make a soCal style early '50s unchopped 3W one day. Just like the one on the next to the last page of the "Birth of Hot Rodding" book, if you have it. Perfect.

The real ****ter is that they WILL build a body - for next to nothing. Some guys have all the luck.

    Congrats. :)

Hey, that thing is really half-***ed :D

Is it full scale? Looks like it might be slightly smaller than an actual car? If you guys can make that from scratch, keep going, your half done!

    Don't tell me....

If you're doing what I think you're doing, I'm pissed, jealous and really interested to see what you end up with.

I think they were 20K preproduction preorder. I believe but may be wrong, they are $24 and some change now.

    If that's the case Wyatt,
They're getting way out of control!!!! I know that their quality is great & all. but Marcel & Sons would probably custom make you one slightly cheaper with any/all options that one would want @ time of construction. There definitely wouldn't be a one year wait either. One would just would have to have the financial means for the motive.;)

There is no way the Marcel and his boys could touch that body for 24K. With 24k and at 75 dollars an hour that is only 320 hours of work those guys are BAD *** but there is no way the could fab up a stock 32 body in probably 640 hours. Just imagine how much time it would take to make the firewall.
Oh and then you have their like 8 year waiting list or something like that.
    just my 2 cents Rodger

A friend of mine is friends with the Brookville Roadster folks and he told me that they had over 50 deposits on the 3W ........almost a year ago.....and the deposit was/is 5 grand.

They were supposed to be ready by the NSRA Nats in Louisville 05 ....but they were having problems with the p***enger side......so I was told...... :( I was going to buy one, when they finally got them in production so I have looked at what they have made so far......pretty close.......it is nice stuff....but the dash is easily told from the real deal.....no cigar lighter hole......

Then I found the original 3W I have ........so I am not interested in their progress.....Unless they make 3W seat tracks.....I need a set..... :D

Where are the bodies actually being stamped at??
    China?
    US?
Maybe they could alter their tooling for a 'built in' 4" chop. :D

    Yeah no doubt!!!!!
I'm still dreaming that dream as well.

As for the stampings they are 100% USA. Made right in house at Brookvilles facility.

    Dearborn Deuce tried that......

But most everyone wanted a stock looking body ....to start with.....
The Deuceborn 3W coupes came with the filled roof chopped, filled cowl vent and no door hinges......looked it like a fibergl*** clone......and at 20 grand plus....well, there was NO LINE at their door trying to buy one... ;)

Here just to set the record straight (Settle down Ryan & Grimlok)

Naw... were not dumpster divin(But were thinkin about it:) ) This is the side piece that Brookville has been hauling around for a couple years. Dynamat (Sound deadning material) "talked" em out of it to construct one of there "Half" cars for Dynomat display for SEMA.

My old college roomate and Graphic designer for Dynamat, Scott Williams and I were hired to build half of a new Brookville into a bad *** salt flats racer.(in 10 days!)

Brookvile is tryn to debut a whole car at SEMA.(Two weeks) We went there and got what they had... some parts like the upper cowl, header panel, and lower rear section were already offered and finished. OTHERS were not. The rear window was straight out of the press with no back window and an extra 12 inches of "slag" metal all the way around. The windshield area waas not finished nor was the body-to-cowl seam. I had to build these pieces.

We got this car last week and it has to be done... Painted, finished, and crated by this fri!!!! A two week build time... MONEY TALKS BOYS.

The car will be finished with everything but a motor... (A flat head will be cut in half in the future) There will be pedals, sterring, Quick change, front suspension... everything

Oh... and a full aluminum "Miller Indy" nose is bieng constructed as we speak...

The parts that we were givin were second to none... stamped right hear in the good ol' USA!!! @ 20k there a deal. Go try to find a another one. Like my pops says to guys that balk at prices on early rare speed equipment and hot rod parts ... "Boys, there not makin anymore of em'" Well... now they are, so quit cher *****in and start savin'

I'll post some detail shots in a minuite. as far as more info... Don't ask... (enter disclaimer here) sorry boys, I promised some head hanchos I wouldn't post here anymore... I only did this to answer yer questions...

    Thanks...

    Joshua Shaw.

I learned to stripe with old worn out brushes my dad gave me. Now with new good brushes I can hold my own...

I learned to weld on old rusted worn out metal... and well, its nice to get to work with good metal.
