I have a model T coupe that a previous owner chopped the roof off to make into a coupster. When i bought it it came with all the roof parts needed to put it back together, or so I was told. Some parts seem to be missing though. Is there an assembly manual or website that shows how it should go back together? Particularly how the windshield posts and visor are connected, and I'm not sure if it should have a tulip panel between the roof and trunk lid or not. It doesn't look like there ever was a panel there, the roof just ends and the trunk lids begins. I hope someone can help me out with pics or something as I'm trying to put this back together first so that I can get it all ready for a proper nasty chop! But I have to know what I'm working with first. Thanks Darren
Best advice I can offer is to find someone that has the model your working on and take a lot of photos. HRP
Hello, take pictures of what you have& lay it out the way you think it goes. I'm sure someone here could identify them. It's possible you may not have all the right parts.
This is my problem, I don't know if the parts I have are correct for the car, at least not oringinally from this actual car, just from another T coupe. Anybody with any pics to share are welcome. As I said, I'm looking for the visor/tops of the windshield posts and the tupil panel area if this car should even have one. Feel free to PM me if you would prefer.
Let's see what you got and we can assess the damage! Here's my thread with a bunch of pics, maybe it'll help? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=334974
I think the 26/7's did come up to the back of the roof. I don't think there was a panel between the trunk lid and the base of the roof.
You'll get the idea on this thread. Lots of pictures of coupes. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=645511
