absolutely was just about cars. no big prizes, no big money, no big egos. just custom people talking custom cars. although it was a large number of customs, it was still a fairly small amount of people. which made picture taking and meeting people so much easier. i can't say enough good things about this show or the people that were there.

Was cool to meet Mark and besides the car looking ridiculous in pictures the car look even better in perosn, I personally think the little things that keep me happy, but besides the interior being original and in perfect shape along with the 1 piece package tray/ wrap around back seat I was personally impressed with the electronics in it, a true show car for example the swivel buckets turn automatically when you open the door, hood opens electronically, the doors automatically lock when you go 20mph, all the switches in the glove box are functional not just to look like a space ship for its time

  8. not that it matters but iNMHO litl darlin looks better in the solid maroon

I know where I'm taking the shoebox when it gets done. Nice work pulling together some very nice cars! I wish I could have been there, but this kind of quality coverage is a good second!

Thanks for posting pics of the show. This is going on my list.I have known Kustomlincolnlady and her husband for years when they owned a 54 Pontiac 2dr.They have traveled to Gettysburg several times.I remember when I first saw the Hirohata clone in Gettysburg in '88.Fell in love with it!.Got to be friends with Jack at that time.In fact, rode in the car back to the hotel while at Sled Scene East.He was also partners in the build of "String of Pearls" 41 Ford. Both of those cars did attend Lead East many moons ago.

Looks like my kind of show. Reminds me of the early KKOA shows. I hope to have my 36 3 window there next year. How many cars were there this year?

    Man, nice collection of custom's.

  22. This really looks great! This is something that has needed to be done for a long time, especially with all of the great custom cars in the midwest. I wish this show much success in the future!

Looks like a cool local show if we ever get the cabriolet finished.

Finished cars only? Or in-progress allowable?

There's several local cars that would have fit right in that didn't show up - I just hope they do it again next year.
