Hi I'm from Alberta and have 2 projects on the go; A 1953 International R130,and a 1972 International COE 1710A that both require a bit of work to get going. The '53 I found in a farmer's field and purchased for $500.00. The COE I got from a co-worker for a set of mudder tires that I had no use for The '53 I'm thinking on doing a full restoration on but the '72 is a toy ( Don't know how I want it done yet.). BTW the box has been removed from the cabover.
I've gotten rid of the cabover and bought another '53 International, this one, an R160, will be rodded by way of "Z"ing the frame, and dropping into oblivion. I'll also be going for something a bit different for a drive train in it, I'm seriously thinking on a BBF with an automatic ****** to back it up.
I finally got around to purchasing the drivetrain for my first International (the one in a farmer's field). A 1991 F350 with the 7.3 IDI and 5 speed trans. I'll be fixing it up to be a toy hauler and then start working on the big toy. My plans for it will be a 304 or 345 International engine with a 727 Torqueflight. This way my wife can drive one of them
My neighbour is selling a 1981 Ford Fairmont and I think I will purchase it for the engine/trans combo, 3.3 I6, C4 trans interesting ideas for my R160 LOL
This is how to make a "redneck ragtop" Actually I was removing the old body to start putting the diesel engine into my '53 R130
I've finally gotten around to getting the cab and front clip attached to the frame and it looks fairly good
