Works well, but the directions must be followed. I blasted my exhaust manifolds first.

It's better than anything else that comes in a can. I sandblasted my flathead manifold and put on two coats of silver. After about a thousand miles they still look pretty good. Just a little discoloration but no rust.

I used it on my flatheads manifolds and it held up real. I do not own it anymore but still see it and it is looking good after 3 yrs. Did my 348 manifolds last year and had a couple of small flakes come off but I am not blaming the POR-15. Think it was in my prep work.

works better than spray paint but, will not give long lasting "show" results. OK for a driver.

Works good if you sand blast first and don't touch surface before painting on. Not so good if you just try to prep with wire brush and cleaners. Ask me how I know....

works well on my driver, cast iron color. Can use a paint brush to apply, let dry and then a neat trick--if not exhaust manifold use a heat gun to gently heat the part painted--takes out all the strokes and looks like spray.

I've had good results on the 216 in my old 51 Chevy, lasted a good while, Even tried it on my late model four cylinder while I was messing around one day. In that case I wire brushed and slapped it on, still looked good a couple years and a about 25,000 miles later when i traded it off.

It works great as long as you follow directions, which I did and my manifolds have looked great for years

It worked OK but I like Eastwoods stainless steel exhaust paint better. I had it on the manifolds on my '78 Chev PU that was my daily driver, all kinds of weather and it was on there for 5 yrs. before I ever saw any speaks of rust even start to show up and they were very small.

I tried it on my cast steel exhaust manifolds. (the chrome silver) Bead blasted pre heated in oven painted and installed. The paint peeled off soon after I started the engine. I did a second round and the same thing. Ended up using the Eastwood coating and it has held up great 20,000 mi. later. I have a feeling the POR 15 cast might be better than the POR 15 silver.
