This is what it looks like currently. Needless to say, it will not be done or running... or even on the road by the wedding. It's a shame that we have to spend our entire lives at work when there are far more interesting things to complete at home. But without the job, there would be no project.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I hope the wedding is very nice anyway!

Oh thank you, we will! Perhaps we will tow it to the wedding. Haha.

Small update since I am on here:

    I completed all the sanding...

Car is now pretty much disassembled. Some quick primer to prevent surface rust. Disc brake conversion completed in the front. "new" rear axle being prepped for installation. Fiance is working on body work--first focus is the rear panel right below the trunk.

    Dash is out.

Taking out the old weatherstrips and interior trim holding in the remaining headliner bits. Inside of roof is now sanded and prepped.

    Power washing... Didn't help much!

And I couldn't help it... I couldn't wait--had to order the whitewalls to remind myself that this car is indeed going to be badass once finished. :)

We are in the Long lake area, about 20 mins from downtown Traverse City.

I'll be gone next weekend to St. Charles, IL Bloomington Gold Auctions, but my fiance will be around... Probably out working on the car :)

How ironic! I live 15 minutes from St. Charles! LOL! I might need to swing by!
