Have you seen it. Sold it in 1998 or so to a fellow in Jerome Idaho. He has p***ed and I am looking for who might have it now. 350/350 with 8" rear. Picture of wheel is meant to show the "Fordie" script in the center cap. Click image twice for full size. Kind of hard to see, but in the pan below the trunk are two third brake lites. Can you help?

Wanted to build a 40 coupe and needed to sell it first. As the guy drove away I realized that I had just sold the first car I had ever touched every inch of. Tried to buy it back once but he did not want to sell. Thought it was worth a shot on here to see if anyone knows of it. Could be anywhere.

I know they don't work out well usually but thought it is worth a try. I have another 40 tudor to build, but at my age [68] I am thinking that I would rather be updating the old tudor along with anticipated mods to my 53 F100 and 40 coupe. If I can get it back I will have all three ground up builds in my shop together. Got three Grandsons.

Thanks Mel, but you were kind enough to already do that. I struck out with the contacts you gave me. Joe

Thanks for bumping back to the top Old Tin. I admire your 40 every year at Ottawa and Spfld. Certainly set the standard for driven 40's around here.

Ok, one more time. I found out it sold at the Hot August Nights auction a few years ago and went to Huntington Beach, CA. Anyone?
