I'm moving down to Mitchell, NE presently, wondering if there are any HAMB members in the panhandle or surrounding areas?

I'm going to be opening a welding shop there, and so that means I'll have a place to work on my rides again and actually start throwing parts together for my hot rod project, would be cool if there were some people around who can be bribed with beer to give me a hand from time to time, and also help them, check out what they have, etc.

  2. That is about 1 1/2-two hours due south of me. Actually a really quick drive. There is a car club that is active in the area. Lots of stuff going on in the panhandle during the year. I know a couple guys over in Alliance, they have a group that does breakfast every Saturday over there.

I know North Platte had a few old schoolers but I haven't lived there since the early 90's.

I do know it is a hot spot for barn finds if you look around North Platte, Hershey and Sutherland areas.

good luck on barn finds in NP hershey and sutherland, EVERYONE and their dog has been hunting the area for anything old. There is a club that used to (maybe still does) put on a show in scottsbluff and or torrington. There is also a decent lowrider scene in that area, might get you some fab work

Being in barns aren't they supposed to be hidden? I mean I know of barn finds that they are people I know and they just aren't for sale. I know a gal that has a mint condition 67 427 SS Tri Power Vette sitting in her garage from my hometown, it'll never get driven and it won't get sold till she dies, she's over 500 lbs and it was her parents car who were both killed in a car crash.
