Hello everyone, I'm James from PA. I don't know much about cars, but I've been obsessing over f-100 trucks lately and I love customized hot rods. I use to go to car shows all the time with my mom's old boyfriend who got me into 40-50's custom cars when I was about 15. I joined this site for a couple reasons. 1, I want to get back into going to car shows and learning about cars. 2, I really want to eventually pick up a old truck as a project car and i remember being told this site had some great members. My mom is still a member, but I am not sure how active she is on this site. I know I'm the definition of a newbie on this site with my lack of knowledge. But I want to sit back and read over the forums so I learn. I look forward to seeing some of the awesome projects that the hamb members post on here.

Welcome from NC. Good luck in your search for the truck. I grew up in PA and like jkeesey said most of them up there are over priced or beat down. Try to search in the south or south west, what you spend on shipping you will save on hours of rust repair.
