I love that a 32 roadster body has just been dumped on it's side in the background.

The latest heap of parts, starting to coalesce as time allows... original rails kicked up about 2.5" out back with A front and rear crossmembers and a '40 center X and pedals. F1 steering, split bones, I've got a nice dropped heavy with deuce spindles for the front end... going closed drive welded QC out back. That pile of roadster underneath there will end up on top eventually.

I wish I knew somthing about this. not pretty but rugged. looks like it had a set back y block, It also has homemade reversed rear wheels with the remains of some recap slicks.

Very nice Nailhead......now watch & someone will let you know that it's not Traditional :D;)

  14. Yea I guess someone probably will, Flathead, dropped axle, quickchange and a model A spring, No welding on the ch***is either, made new rivots and re-rivoted at all back together as well including all the new crossmembers etc I made. Its trad enough for me!
Wheels ruin it for me though, but as they say, the customers always right!!

I'll throw out a couple. This is for my '34 truck. 327, Muncie, Winters QC, etc. The spreader bar is stainless, it has been polished since this picture.

Love the gold. What is the color name?

  27. My brother's just-finished roadster was intended to reflect a mid-fifties build since he was most familiar (and had the extra parts from) his '56 Victoria.

Armed with original rails and a Tex Smith article on how to build a '32 ch***is this is what he did:

    Mockup stage:

It's House of Kolor "Solar Gold". Lots of metallic, but pictures just don't show it.
