Can anyone help me Id a 55 chevy gasser I bought

Hello,I need help trying to find some info on this 1955 chevy g***er I just bought.I was told it came out of NE. OHIO it has an olds/pont. rearend and it ran a small block chevy and a 4 speed.any info would be great.Thanks Paul

More pics would be a benefit. Chopped top g***er? I don't think I have ever seen one before? Definately would stand out. Hopefully someone remembers

Lots of chopped g***ers, just not many of them 55s.

Rulebook says can be chopped/channeled/sectioned, not more than 4".

Not sure, but the chopped top may have moved it to the Altered cl***.
Re-post the engine compartment pics so they can be blown up and looked at closer, this could help identify the car also. The chopped top should make the car easier to identify.
