well folks this old tin is still out there. my dad and I were asked to help piece together some cars before an auction company came in. the collector had p***ed away and a good friend was helping the wife get this stuff sold off. she needed money for medical bills and to get thing done around the house. we were able to but a few things to help her out and get the place ready for the auction company. I post this to show those outer that think this stuff is gone. its out there waiting to be found . I also wanted to clear up a few rumors that we weaseled our way in or that we some how lie to or cheated this lady. we asked to come in and were fair with her and she trusted us .here are some pics.

There will always be people out there saying how you cheated someone out of parts or that you did not pay enough for something but then they wont buy it because there cheap and just lazy. One thing i learned in life if someone talks bad about you that means you are doing something right. Hey when is the auction and did you leave anything because i think i would have bought it all!!!!

    33 3w chopped steel
    33 woody cowl x2
    33/34 4 door sedan x2 in parts
    33/34 5w coupe back half
    34 5 w coupe
    stacks of grilles
    49/50 ford custom
    40's 3w mopar coupe custom
    2 mavricks
    70's t-bird
    80's t-bird
    Fairmont
    70's buick
stacks of parts new and old
    stacks of rear 36 wishbones

Nice stash. Read the thread about having this stuff and p***ing on. Best to do a couple of projects and let the rest go. I've just come to the realization that I could be this guy and my wife would have to rely on friends (and crooks) to help her dispose of the mess.

Well, I have hard time coming to grips with this sort of rationalization. I find it's usually trumpeted by people who are ****s.

Let's think of some examples to prove our point, shall we? One example is Adolph Hitler. There were many people right around 1938 who talked bad about him, and it turns out they pretty much hit the nail on the head, eh?

So you see, it's just difficult to connect that particular set of dots.

If someone is saying stuff like that, they are just jealous. Don't sweat it, Drew. That's a heck of a collection there...the makings of a great auction.

fab32 I think about this to a lot. I am PACKED to the rafters full of stuff. I have stuff stored at my dads shop and I just don't have any more room. how much stuff is to much???? im 37 and I am kinda young but how long do you have to live to build all you projects you have??? I have 4 projects now . I don't need any more. my wife will have a field day selling all my stuff if something happens to me.

you know there is no trailer hitches or luggage racks on he****s!

this guy went to Hershey swap for many years. that is how he got his collection. everyone of these car he was going to build.

That is one heck of a load of parts! When and where was the auction?

  28. What an amazing stash.... I know a lot of people that would just rather have the stuff stashed than actually do anything with it .
