I've been meaning to get this scanned for awhile. It's an article from the April 1931 Modern Mechanics and Inventions magazine I picked up at an estate sale awhile back. An inspiration for a "traditional" diesel build if there ever was one.
Great article on a car I've heard of, but never seen details about previously. This makes me want: 1) A Packard roadster highboy (probably with a Packard gas engine); or 2) A '51-'54 Packard business coupe with a modern Cummins. Thanks for sharing!
