Longview Tx over the 4th

Going to be in the Longview Tx area the week of the 4 th of July Is their any cruise in or local get together's going. Any good junk yards looking for some parts for a 58 Chevy panel or suburban.

 

Well, I don't know of anything going on here this weekend. Don't really know of any parts cars/trucks around for 58' models. All of our rod runs are usually the first of every month (whick would be next week)....

I live in gilmer which is just down the road from longview. I am relatively new to the area but as far as I know there are no junkyards full of any good tin.Everything around here that I know of is guys with yards full of old stuff.

 

Yeah, there are cars and trucks everywhere around here, they are just ****tered......

Longview Whataburger on hwy 300 Gilmer rd 1st Thursday of month of course July 4th is that Thursday so don't know if it will be on or not. Most wrecking yards are on Hwy 80 towards Gladewater , might ask the guys at the yard and they may know of someone around that has parts. I will call a guy I know and see if he knows of any individuals with truck parts stash.
