Hey guys, just thought I'd post a very short clip of the 292 I bought used. I took a gamble and bought it without hearing it run. Fortunately it does. I plan on using it in my 54 chevy wagon http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=me1ZYgc8DgQ
Here is another clip....its a little longer than the first video but not much http://youtu.be/2g9uGZvv-7Q
thats awesome man. i'm using one in my 53 coupe and waiting for the machine shop to finish it up right now. its pricey though so if you do a compression check on yours and it checks out with decent numbers then i would run it as is and spend the money elsewhere. you can always take the motor out later to rebuild it! i kinda wish i had done that lol. Jesdude, do you have any close up pictures of your engine mounts? I was checking out your build thread and I was just wondering where you got them. My mounts will be staggered so I'll have to make something work
I always loved starting up engines on the floor and watching them do that little jig as you reved them, wierd I know but just always thought it was neat.
