Hey guys, just thought I'd post a very short clip of the 292 I bought used. I took a gamble and bought it without hearing it run. Fortunately it does. I plan on using it in my 54 chevy wagon

thats awesome man. i'm using one in my 53 coupe and waiting for the machine shop to finish it up right now. its pricey though so if you do a compression check on yours and it checks out with decent numbers then i would run it as is and spend the money elsewhere. you can always take the motor out later to rebuild it! i kinda wish i had done that lol.

Jesdude, do you have any close up pictures of your engine mounts? I was checking out your build thread and I was just wondering where you got them. My mounts will be staggered so I'll have to make something work

I always loved starting up engines on the floor and watching them do that little jig as you reved them, wierd I know but just always thought it was neat.
