Glad the weather turned out good. Last time I made it out, it rained crazy-hard, and I ended up hanging out in the Milltown ez-up with Lance, Dean, and Ian the whole time.
Thanks to the Rumblers for puttin on another great show! if the weather ***holes got it right, I'm sure a lot more cars would have made it.

Thanks Squirm and Rumblers. It was great to catch up with lots of friemds. Great Bands, lotsa good stuff in the swap meet --- perfect day ...... even found the combination to Bruce's wallet ( love ya Buddy !!! )
OK, I'll post em up shortly. Gotta do the download boogie. Yeah, the swap meet was great, I found 2 wicked cool headlights to replace the one I lost on the way there! lol. Good thing I brought my tools. What a hoot!
SHHHHH. lets keep that combination a secret! even though now my grandmother's not gonna be able to get her operation.
I was planning on asking you how the first "shake down" went with your new build. Now I know where that old phrase came from.
Took my Mom (75 years young) and my son to the show. They had a blast. She made one trip around the field and almost didn't make it back to the pavilion but once back she sat and enjoyed the first 2 bands. Looks like a good time was had by all. I know we had fun for sure.
I don't even listen to them any more. I look out the window and if it looks good I'm goin. Dude you have an awesome wagon. I've been admiring it for years. Don't know if you would remember me or not. I spoke to you about your flamed hood at the show at DQ way back when you first did it (if my memory is correct).
Yea that was a great show! Kinda bummed it ended so early. Place was a ghost town by 5 or so. Gues maybe coming up saturday wasnt the best. Should came friday! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Haha. Yeah, the potholes in NY and CT are a great testing ground for these old heaps of ours. Every nut and bolt was loose by the time I got back home. LOL.
Here's a link to an album of the cars and stuff.....hope this works..... http://s966.photobucket.com/user/Antny_bucket/slideshow/Rumblers%20Terryville%202013
my memory is probably way less correct than yours! you shoulda just came by to b s a little. those flames still got people scratchin they're heads. even after all these years. I guess that's a good thing.
I think I also sold you a split rear window out of a 38 olds sedan at the Bristol swap. I had my Mom with me and she don't get around very well so she was on my arm all day. I also had my disabled son with me and he is kind of an accident waiting to happen so I constantly have to have my eyes on him. Still good seeing the car. You couldn't believe I guessed how you did the flames. I remember you thanked for the good conversation and for being so knowledgeable. That has stuck with me all these years. Thanks for that by the way it made me feel real good at a time in my life that things were bad.
ct32, thanks for posting the great pics. I'm a dumb *** for listening to the weather reports, I should have just gone to the show.....
I can't believe the weather man could be wrong so often. It was the nicest day we have had in a long time. I was prepared to get wet. Sorry you missed it. Always next year!
As allways, it was great to see you as well Laura. Not too bad seeing Ron either! I love this show, great cars, great friends, great times. The tent city this year was a hoot. Looked like a BoyScout Jamboree-haha. Thanks to Squirm, Sniper and the rest of the Rumblers for the good times. The moment of CHAOS in honor of the Rumbler who had p***ed and the p***ing of Torr was a fitting tribute. Hanging with my old pal EJ was worth the trip alone. However, he took all my gas money in trade for a bag full of T-shirts. I had to use the plastic card to pay my way home. I hope he saves a couple of bucks from it for the roadster. This marks the 25th year he has had/campaigned it. And then there was the Carr family-so good to see them. I wish this show was twice a year. see you all later,
