Back to some rural British Columbia photos, from the Kootenay area. I spent a few years of my childhood in this area. The pic with the Studebaker at a lookout point, is Slocan Lake. I lived 2 years at New Denver which is in that beautiful mountainous valley.

 

continued.... The Newmarket Hotel, the building on the right in picture #7, burned to the ground when we lived there. Full of antiques, what a loss.

That's funny, I checked it out there as well! My first ride on any plane was on CF-OBU (#4), Then CF-JOS (#1030), both on the DHC-2 registry. The owner of the company I currently work for, owns CF-SJX (#1592)
