I have a freebie 230 I6 motor that I'm (very slowly) taking apart. I got the water pump off this weekend and see that there is a large amount of scale in the water jacket.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a shop to take the bare block to, for hot tanking and a general checkup in the North Dallas area?

    TIA.

I went to Arlington Machine shop, its right off of Abrams behind Shipley donuts between Collins and Cooper. They did all the machine work on my 390. I haven't fired it up yet but it looks quality!
