Does anyone have any idea if anyone is making patches for 30-31 model a sedan roof above the rear windows? I need both sides but I can't seem to locate any and a search on here didn't help. I have new ones that go over the doors but can't find the rear Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
As you know they make em for above the doors but I haven't ever seen them for above the windows. -Tim
I tried my hand at making my own and it could work but its still not original looking as I would like Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I think it might be Howell's. I'm not totally sure on that, but I got a set for mine at Sac Vintage Ford about 8 years ago.
I have a friend who might have some stock ones in his pile of "A" Stuff....email me and I will give you his info... hellerlj@comcast.net
I went through this a few years ago - at that time no one was making them. I had to make my own patch panels.
ok I see what you are talking about, my problem is, there is no picture and it has almost the same description as the piece that goes above the door so im not sure http://www.vintageford.com/sect_search.cfm?Line=Model A&Category=Panels- Roof
Try Macs, Brantons or There is a place in Denver that sells model A pieces. Google search the place in Denver. Good Luck.
I had to make similar repairs to my '28 Tudor. Here's the thread with lots of pix: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=326048 Hope this helps.
