Hey people. Just thought i would let you know to watch your shit at car shows. We went to billetproof this year, brought a cooler in, made countless trips to the store and hooked people up with beer's all day. And what do I get. Some asshole takes my vintage Hires root beer cooler and my sack of parts and shirts that me and my wife bought. I left it alone for about 3 minutes to go get some jumper cables for my buddy. Just giving everybody a heads up, watch your stuff. I have had that cooler for 10 years and have never seen another one before. So if you are the lucky one who scored all my shit, i'll be talking to you. And you will find the cooler smashed through your windshield, i'll take my shifter knob back and my wife will probably rip her shirts off your lady. I got out of volkswagens because of this kind of bullshit, but i guess it is everywhere. Any help would be real cool. I go to shows everywhere so i know it will turn up somewhere. I guess this is what you get for buying beer all day.

That does suck, I have had things stolen from me before. When I was in my early twenties someone broke into my car and stole my stereo. Upon telling my Dad who is much older than me, He says "Yeah it's tough getting your stuff stolen, you'll get used to it". Later I realized my Dad has been ripped off a lot throughout the years. And by the way, I NEVER GOT USED TO IT, AND IT STILL PISSES ME OFF! I am sorry to hear about your bad luck.

I carry a ball bat in the trunk of my Cadillac....after it has become common knowledge that you carry such a utensil around and have no qualms about putting it to good use, people tend to leve your shit alone...sorry to hear about your stuff man. Never like to hear that shit about anyone, and what a way to ruin what was probably a great day! Shit! Feel good in knowing that what comes around goes around. They'll get theirs, one way or the other....

I can see some low life ripping off your undescript bag of goodies, but to steal an unusual cooler and carry it through a crowd of people takes some nads.

Hope you find it and them and give them something to remember for the experience. That sucks.

  11. Well we know one thing....the assholes who stole your stuff weren't real car guys. If They ripped you off like that, chances are they were ripping people off all day. Most real car guys aren't thieves. Karma will catch up to those assholes if you don't first. You should contact Kirk and let him know about what happened at the show- he should know about it. Hope they get what's coming to them

Pictures of any of the shit that got stolen, post 'em up, so we know what we're looking for. Do some Ebay searches too, in case the shit's getting resold. That sucks for sure.

A thief needs to know how it is to go through life without hands. That way he can relate the experience to others who might be thinking of stealing something.

Last night some asshole punched the lock out of my daily and stole my stereo...

Thw whole way home from work I was thinking about how much that fucker would hate his life if I'd caught him in the act... and then of course the self blaming shit... "If I'd only left 5 minutes earlier, he wouldn't have got it", etc....

And when I was done, I'd call the cops and say " I found this bruised, bloodied, and urine soaked guy layin' on the ground next to my truck, come get him."

Hope you get your shit back... It sucks to have your stuff stolen...

I DO believe in karma (ever since the guy that tried to rob me at knife point fell on his own knife while trying to get away from my gun...:D )

Fuck! That's a first...and hopefully a last. If you do end up finding out who it was, let me know. THEY WILL BE BANNED FOR LIFE FROM BILLETPROOF!

In the meantime, if any of those tees were Billetproof tees I'll replace them if I still have the design in stock.

  17. I found a guy using my camera at a Good Guys once. I set it on a guys tailgate to talk to him and turned around and it was gone. I got luckey I found him about an hour later trying to take pictures of little kids by the restroom.
No one got mad when I dotted his eye (no I'm not a tough guy), I turned the film and the dud over to Big Brother Dallas.

Thieves come in all shapes and sizes bro. I hope it wasn't a rodder who got your chit, but you can bet you ass whoever it was won't be reading about it on this forum. I do hope a HAMBer sees your stuff and dots that muther's eye for ya.

first off let me start by saying of all the automotive scenes i have been in, in my life, the traditional rod scene is probably the most respectful of other peoples shit.

when i was younger some fuck used to steal my stereos out of a 62 impala i had. no matter what alarm i had the fucker got me every time.
i knew it was him, and i would confront him, threaten to kill him and all that normal stuff, but couldnt ever catch him red handed. so one day my step dad said, "you wanna catch him?" and i said "fuck yeah!" ...and he said " use your brain son,...how do you catch a real big fish?" " with uh hook???"

i fastened some fishing hooks on the back side of the NEW radio i installed and came out the very next morning to find his sorry ass hung up with his hand stuck to the backside of my dash, he had lost ALOT of blood and his arm was purple, but i called the cops out, they brought the paramedics, but not before i walked around behinde him and kicked him from behind in the balls!!!.... that was such a great time! i wish i was smart enough to take pictures. his poor little ass hanging there inside my car...hahahahahahah:D

guy that stole my godfathers tractor truck the next day drove it off a bridge and pretty much came close to death feeding from a tube dying slowly. i posted it here.....it was on the news.

they called my godfathers parents because the only paperwork they found inthe truck was my godfathers, he didnt even know it was stolen.

funny, he got the 5000$ bill in for the heli ride by mistake

Just shows what total dumbasses criminals are. Intead of spending the time ripping your cooler they could have come over to my spot and snagged $3,000 dollars worth of digital Nikon 35mm, memory & lenses I left sitting in plain sight on my lawn chair while I wondered around the show in ignorrant bliss.

Ok, maybe I'm the dumbass and the criminals were just unlucky to spot my goods, but I was sure suprised to come back for a sit and see it still sitting there - made me feel good that the BP crowd were so trustworthy, but then I see your post!

Man, i would love to catch someone in the act. I have had so much shit stolen over the years. It's very aggravating.

Florida just passed a law, that if you or your property is in danger you can shoot first and ask questions later...:D .

As a youngster I sunk my cj7 up the headlights late one night.. The mud crawling out of the hole was balls deep and at least 200' across. The next day I get there with a wrecker to pull it out and sure enough the $30.00 stereo and all the small shit I left in it was gone. Loosers will go to the ends of the earth to boost your shit if given the chance.

I don't believe in Karma anymore. I've caught the assholes. You turn them over to the cops, the judge slaps a fine on them to put a few more bucks into the city's coffers. They steal more shit to get the money to pay the fines. Asshole gets off, judge and cops get a paycheck, city gets some office supplies or payroll money and you get SQUAT! System supports everyone but the poor guy who got his car busted up and his shit stolen.

Karma is a Remmington Pump and a baseball bat!

Sad but true. A couple of shit-pistols nabbed my buddy's stereo one night. So I chased them all ove the neighborhood in a beater VW bug. Finally got the plate number and raced back to present it to the cops. And wouldn't you know it...the cop was a total dick about it. In the end, the plate number allowed the authorities to bust this little ring of car and home audio theft these fucking turds had going.

But they're probably still at it.

a 2x4 across the eyes would probably solve their problem right quick.

Oh, and please post pics so we can keep our eyes peeled.
