Long time lurker here.... it all started in my youth like most of us and Evil Kenevil was my hero. My whole life Ive been around anything with wheels.....cars, jeeps, buggies, trucks, go carts, planes, motorcycle's, etc. At the age of 14 I decided it was time to get a project. Found a 28' model A pick-up in the local cl***ifieds and quickly sold my motorcycle to get it...but failed. It had sold before I had the scratch. No worries, my cousin had a 55' f100 for sale and it fit my budget better. At the time the high priced coddington rods were plastered everywhere in the magazines and I "thought" I wanted my truck to fit in. I soon realized my wallet was too small. Tore it all down...did the ch***is and running gear (through out the old and put in better stuff) and had it running again by my 16th birthday..whoo hoo! And fast forward to now.....Learned a lot over the years. Been metal working for a living and have ran about every stupid bender and every stupid welder out there. My home shop is equipped better then my day job's. Still have the truck. My "someday" cars list is very large. Currently have 2 projects going...a 41' ford COE and a a 65' VW double cab bus. Not to mention the various "other" types of cars I have. I look forward to learning and sharing and I am officially no longer a lurker!
Welcome to the group. Hope you and your stupid tools have fun here playin with us stupid old guys and our stupid old cars.
