I've been sitting on this until it got cold enough to wear it, and the Pileup this weekend was the big debut. Check out my leather jacket that Barnett painted for me! I designed it and he made it happen. I always wanted nose art painted on my leather jacket. For like 17 years. I got this jacket for Christmas, and figured it's about time to do something about it. I wanted something personal though, not to just copy one off a plane. Hence the V8 Vixen was born, and she's holding my gold metalflake Epiphone. I made some alterations to the 8th Air Force logo too. Thanks Dan and Ryan! I love it. I let my fiance wear it all day Saturday cause it was so cold and she could not believe how many people asked if that was her on the back.
Chad, I really dig the jacket and the artwork. So, I apoligize beforehand for this tangent I am about to go on www.whale-tail.com
That's pretty bad***. I like when they paint fairly naked girls on jackets, but I also like when they paint jackets on naked girls. It's usually airbrush but it's a nice look too. Well done to all.
That does kick ***! I didn't know Dan did it. You need to spend a few weeks in Chicago, Dan, I think we could find a lot of work for you.
I was going to say something, but I somehow became distracted around the same time I clicked on Tman's link. That's great work guys, on both the design and execution. I really like the V8 AAF logo on the sleeve. Barnett= ruler.
Glad you dig the jacket and I'm glad you're gonna get plenty of use out of it. Thanks for the good words, everyone! PLW...it's One Shot Lettering Enamel. It's about all I paint with since I'm too lazy to learn how to use anything else. I've been mesing with water colors, lately...what a huge pain in the ***, they are! thanks again, ya'll.
