Just bought a 58 Ford and need help with parts. First off I would like o switch over the brakes to disc, but I am not sure what is interchangeable. Any help would be great. Thanks Matt

Just about everything from 57 Fords will fit a 58. You can go to 57Fordsforever.com & get a lot of good info there. Most guys use Granada spindles & disc brakes for their conversions. What part of Az. are you located?

I bought an engine from a guy who had a 57 custom 300 he was building. He said his disc brake setup was taken off of a 72 Torino. He said he took it off at the ball joints and put the whole spindle setup on his 57.

  4. I didn't know about the '72-up Torinos, but late 60s/early 70s full-size Fords will also work. The Granada spindles don't have the same geometry.

I got the disc stuff for mine off a 69-71 Lincoln mark 3. Direct bolt on.
