You can check out the complete build link here:

We just got it back in the garage last night. The detailing begins today to get it ready for next week. We will have the car in the Lo Man Rods booth all weekend. If you are there come say hello.

The car is all steel (no glass anywhere). A ton of metal work and tin work has been done on the car.

It has a documented race history that you can see on the attached link.

It's simply beautiful! Nothing like a Willys coupe with it's nose in the air!

This is a shot of the car from 1964. It was voted "Best Engineered" at the 1964 NHRA Nationals.

That is a very, very well done car. Nice, clean, straight and shiny. Cool that it has history also.

    Exellent work, -Abone.

Thanks for the compliments. Excited to show it in Columbus. We will also be participating in the Hot Rod of the Year event at Indy Goodguys. It should look and play the part. It is very fast.

I am not familiar with that car. I looked at a picture of it online. Looks good.

I have been detailing on the car for the past two days. Good and bad news. Good is - I don't think I left a spot untouched and it looks great and clean. The bad news is - it will never be this clean again. We have a lot of rain in Ohio right now. I am excited to see it out in the sun after being detailed and buffed.

Here are a few pictures after detailing it. Pictures inside the garage really don't do it justice. When the sun hits it, it really pops.

Some of these pics show the chrome suspension and chrome ladder bars that were made to look like they did in 1964. All the trim, grille, handles, etc. are all original on the car. Two different sets of headers were made for the car. Shown is the zoomie headers. It sounds awesome with them on, just very loud. Haven't tested it out yet driving past the police. Bowling Green was great. The police were no where around and even if we did see them, they didn't care if a car was loud (as long as you drove it normal).

Without a doubt, one of the most amazing Willys in the world today ! Absolute perfection.

Thanks for the compliments guys. There are a lot of details that no one will ever see unless they really look or we show them that are there. We really wanted to honor Elverne Pfeifer (who used to race the car) with this build. Hopefully we did it justice. Of course we went a little over board but I wanted it to be different.
