Been reading a lot of good info hear for a while, decided to make it official and introduce myself. I've always been a car guy and now retired so my new fulltime job is to get my model 40 done! Have had this 34 for 30 years after picking it off it's roof in Idaho and wanted a resto rod. Well to make a long story short my son is more old school now (he's got an AV8 and a 51 chevy truck with a cad 390) and is keeping me on track to traditional the best he can! A big thanks to him. I'm sure it will be a timeless hot rod when finished.
