I have seen several front axles on the HAMB, I really like when they have a patina left by time and also those who have an iden***y given by its owner, some drilled axles, some filled, some dropped, early dropped axle, some chrome, some paint, some pintstriping, etc.. We could put some examples here to have a thread of axles! A front axle you like it, yours or from wherever! I'll start with this picture I found surfing, frozen axle, below the link, I have no idea on this axle? Bill Akin's 1932 Ford roadster, cover of the December 1979 edition of Hot Rod magazine, to be featured at the Hot Rod 65th Anniversary event, the Hot Rod Homecoming in Pomona, California. http://wot.motortrend.com/hot-rod-u...-roadster-road-trip-324051.html#axzz2Y0oiD5M8 http://www.hotrod.com/feature_stori..._a_channeled_deuce_1932_roadster/viewall.html
My rear axle is more interesting than the front. It is a worm drive. The pinion is on the very top. 7.25:1 gears are great for running around the woods and the farm.
heres a few pics of axles i own, an old chrome dago thats going in my 32 coupe, a mor drop 32 heavy in my survivor 32 fordor, a few other dago axles and a few other mor drops also. JEFF
