What does the jury think about this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rebuilt-For...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a82a408a4&vxp=mtr
He lists everything but magnafluxing the block or sonic testing the cylinders. Hope he has proof it's not cracked.
If you could score a new French block local ,it might be more satisfying to build your own flathead from the ground up. Shipping would sure be cheaper for parts only. Though this one looks like it has all the go fast parts. Though $1500 for distributor....
I have to ask...WHO in their right mind would spend that kind of money and a year of time, then NOT have it Dyno tested???? HUH?
$17,000 invested. I know a few guys for whom price is just a random number. If they like it, they can buy it without a concern. Maybe one of them wants a flathead. As for most of the rest of us, take a deep breath and hold it. We'll get back to you. jack vines
I can see 14K as he says because he farmed a lot of the expensive stuff out. He took the best part off (H&C mag) and yes those go for $1500. A real go fast flathead can easily go 30k or more when you start using ***anium parts.
