Thank all of you for attending, it was a FUN SHOW! We had about 400 cars! Looking forward to next year already. Trying to make a little cruise - party - band thing happen the day before the show next year!

Was a great time, had my partially off topic 40 Ford Pickup there. Great tunes, food and people. Thanks to all that made it happen.

Better deal than spectating, $30 for me and the ole lady with parking.

Next year I'll push my heap there if I have to. Great show and got some good tech pointers too.

Same for me... mine represented in the parking lot because it has "OT" wheels on it... but it didn't look like show officials were enforcing like they did last year because I saw a LOT (A L O T !!!) of modern "billet"-type wheels in the show this year. If I had known they weren't going to enforce, I'd have saved some money by parking in the shade inside the show instead of just spectating. :(

This year, after numerous conversations, it was decided that we were to make our decisions at the entry gate based solely on the current NCKO website vehicle requirements...
No Jeeps, No Donks, No Modern wheels to exceed 17" diameter, no monster trucks, off roads, no VW's or other European made cars. No hi- tech rides, fenderless IFS sporting street rods. No new Indians, Buell, Big Dog or West Coast Chopper ' OCC style bikes.

Pretty much a slightly relaxed version of the guidelines we used when we ran the gate at Billetproof for 6 years.
This gives a good mix of vehicles while still adhering to the nostalgia theme and I honestly don't think it hurt the show at all...

I have no problems with the rules of the venue... which is why I parked in the lot. The only point to my comment above was that the rules were "lax" enough such that I COULD HAVE p***ed. I visit the show so I can see traditional non-billeted vehicles (again, why I didn't try to bring mine in).

    And I enjoyed the show.

I totally understood what you where saying, I just wanted to put the current criteria out there again for all to see.
Its difficult to convey the intent of the criteria on paper since its subject to interpretation and unfortunately this years "softening" decision didn't help much with that.
Hopefully you will choose to bring your car in next year, Im betting that you weren't the only one out there who left thinking, "Damn, I could have gotten in".
Glad that you enjoyed the show!
