Bought my first car in '68. It was a '51 Olds 2-door sedan, a retired quarter-miler (303, B&M Hydro, 4.11 gears). Been hooked on wrenches ever since. Currently have a '56 Chevy 210 2-door in 2,987 pieces. It's impatiently waiting, until I retire next year, ta git put back together. I also have a mess of vintage Honda motorcycles. I've been a mechanic all my life. I dig valve seats, piston clearances, crankshaft bearings, and makin' engines purr. Don't know what took me so long, but I'm glad to be here. My latest project was an adult soap box derby car built to resemble a rat rod. What, no engine? Shame on me. But it was fun.
