How's it going this evening, I'm a new follower In H.A.M.B. and I've really admired how helpful and informative everyone in the forum was on things I've researched, which leads me to the point. I'm beginning a project, all original 1957 chevy truck with straight 6 235 3 speed trans, that I got for a steal $300! All intact very little rot, just little dings here and there is all. This is going to be my first build and I'd like to keep it fairly simple! So if anyone out there hase any info or guidance, it would mean the world to me! I just typed an entire paragraph and it didn't post for some reason... Thank you for the welcome tho, located rite in the center of Texas actually and I'm needing help and advice on my build, the mechanic I got to help me in my build went to uti and hasn't been much help, says he only knows newer cars, so I've still pretty much been on my own.
hang in there, , some of the guys here can give lots of free advice have fun on the project and find a older mechanic for real help!!!!
