Will certainly be there for about the 14th year in a row! This will be the cars second year! Will be camping Wed-Sun. We'll be parked right around the track like last year as it's closer to the camping area for lunch...and beer refills! :p Feel free to say hello!

Bob Barber called me today. I thought I'd let you guys know, or remind those of you that knew, that Gene Winfield is going to be hosting one of his metal shaping classes on Wednesday and Thursday just before Nats at Barber's Garage. This will be the 2nd annual class.

for those arriving early, Wednesday evening is a cruise in at CiCi's Pizza 7785 Frontage Rd., Cicero NY 13039

Thursday evenings feature 2 large regional cruise in gatherings.
The closest is at the Bella Domani 5988 E. Taft Rd (sic) located on Taft road east of I 81 just north of the Syracuse airport. It will be on the right near a Quik Fill gas station when traveling East on Taft Road.

Further away (30 miles) located at the Village Park in Sylvan Beach, NY. Located at the east end of Oneida lake this cruise usually attracts 200 to 300 vehicles maybe 2x that prior to NATS. About 3 miles north of the State Rt 13 and State Rt31 intersection (go north on 13 at the SAVON gas station) It is between the Amusement park and the lake at the south end of the village. The Amusement park has a 40's vibe and is a good place if you have the kiddies with you. Quite a selection of restaurants in the village. Both are good places to check out prior to the gathering at the fair grounds. Hope the weather is good, its been about 30 days of rain in the area.

Speaking of Gas stations, Cicero NY at the intersection of NY 31 and US 11 / I 81 has some of the cheapest gas in the area, and the Savons, there are two near Sylvan beach, are enterprises of the Oneida Indian Nation, as as such save a bit by not charging some of the State Fuel Taxes (usually about 5/6 cents per gallon less than non Indian Nation filler uppers). For the tobacco users in the crowd they also sell for less than State Minimum.

Drive safely, arrive alive, and have fun.

It is like a certain percentage are parked in Old School area, alot more parked over a shit load of Acres. It is almost like we need to start meeting up in a neuteral location.
IMO, a spot like area behind Pin Strippers, in Hallway, leading out back Door to Swap would be good. There is a good size area not being used there, Sat 11:00, 2:00 or 4:00.
We also need a good ID for us. Name tag w/ H.A.M.B. on top and user name under. 2" Tapes works fine .

18. I'll be there friday.

Just go an E-mail
"Pass this along to the other guys you know. If you are coming in on 90!!! Stay on 90 to exit 39. Then take 690 EAST to the fairground exit. There is construction on 690 in downtown Syracuse and this way you will avoid it!
See you Thursday!"

Yes there is road construction all over the place, even on 690 after you get off 90 they have the road screwed up. If you have anything with ground clearance problems be very careful.

27. They did just repave Hiawatha Blvd. by 690, or are doing so now, so if you want to get off at I-81 and go south to 690 there it's an option. Don't go fast over the harbor outlet bridge by the mall.

HillBilly, want to join our Caravan ?
Road Construction, so we usually travel through there, as we stay near Carrier Circle ? Better off to run back and forth on Thruway ?
