More on this in an upcoming blog post and thread here but I have approval from the KKOA to give out my own award at the Leadsled Spectacular. The general criteria for my award will be someone younger than myself (38) with a traditional style kustom or hot rod. These will not be hard & fast rules but guidelines. I'm working to gather some sponsors to put together a killer prize pack to go along with the award. If anyone has a company that might like to add a prize let me know. I can't promise to mention you from the stage but I will be doing a few blog posts and fb posts as well a thread here on the award and its sponsors.

The 46' made it the 300 miles to our new place but is leaking trans fluid like a sieve and some other little things poked there's heads up on the trip down so we might be in the late model for year three but we will be smiling anyways

Salina is the Koolest show of the year. I will be there late Thursday. I better find out
where I'm staying. Should be in the Merc again..

My father and I are going for the first time. I may bring the '59 Apache down to sell. My fathers Candy Orange with green flames 1957 Plymouth Plaza 2dr sedan will be there also. He looks like Santa so hes easy to find.

We'll be there with a group of 5 cars by Friday morning.

 

I'm working on getting together some prints, shirts, hats, koozies filled with cold water etc to have in my Royboy Productions booth. Hope to see a bunch of you folks at the show, I will be doing custom photo shoots on or off site if you'd like to have custom images of your ride created.

Me my pops and my uncle will be making the trip in my 48 ford. I'm so ready to actually drive my car somewhere. We will be leaving Thursday AM

 

Cant wait for the drags...

 

Looking less and less like I'll make it. At least not in my unibody. Kreem not lining is peeling out of my tank and clogging up the system. New tank, now to get it adapted to my needs, painted and back in by weekend....

Might just say screw it to everything and hop in the new truck and make a fast run to check it out. Is it worth going for a 3-4 hour look at cars? (and driving 6 hours there and 6 back?)

 

I routinely do a drive like that for a short stay like that and this is one of the shows that I would say is worth it. Saturday is ridiculous with people and cars, probably your best bet. Although the Friday drags start at 4 and are usually a lot of fun.
