Y block timing?

    what should we run for total advance and what rpm all in this is a 312 y block with a lathem blower not a lot of boost. just crusing marloy dist . no vac. advance.

    seems like it should be about 8-10 initial. what cam are you running?

    I need to find what y block people use for total and when all in rpm.

    so not any different than sbc. I wondered since flatheads are so different if y blocks wold be?
