Aussie looking for car shows in CA

G'day guys I am from Sydney Australia.
I am heading over for a surfing contest at Huntington Beach between 23rd July and 3rd August.

I will be around Orange County but keen to drive a few hours north or south to check out some shows, garages, cruises or swap meets during my time.

I have heard of the Friday night meets at The Broiler in Downey and perhaps a swap meet in Pomona? Anything info is greatly appreciated!

I will also be hunting for a cheap, running 50s or 60s wagon, delivery, or pick up to bring back with me...
