    I sure like the look of the early mustang under dash unit. And using a low mount should hide it enough but just going to vintage air and being done with it is probably the best idea. Or I could move somewhere not quite so close to the sun!

    The driveshaft driven...works fine...for electrons, or BTU's...
    as long as you...move! :rolleyes:

    Maybe if you are running a standard trans you could run the comp off a PTO drive

    Small A/C home units, like this one, apparently take less than 1 hp to run, if I'm understanding the specs correctly. Why does a car unit require more?
