  1. '33 Truck,
    oh sorry, wrong conversation

  2. Full fenders - 33/34. Highboy 32. A full fendered 34 roadster is one of the cl***iest cars ever made. A highboy 32 roadster is still my favorite hot rod genre.

Ever notice the saying "Quintessential Hot Rod" always refers to a Deuce?

I guess we can agree to disagree. :D HRP

34 from this camp, It's always been my dream car. Not to say that there is anything wrong with a 32, however in a roadster, I think a 32 wins in just about every way.

Couldn't make a decision on this subject if I had to...

  18. 32 is a beautiful car.
But the 33/34 is way ***ier than a 32.
I think the 32 was just practice for 33/34 models.
The 35,6,7 trucks are neat too.

Very few 32's do anything for me, Maybe it's a saturation thing. Are there alot of really neat ones you bet. The only way I would ever own a Duece would be as a way to turn it into the '33 Roadster or P'ton I have always wanted through selling it. The '33/'34 style is off the charts ***y, while the '32 looks like a cleaned up Model A. I know the '32 is "the" Hot Rod of m*** appeal, and that is great. They are beautiful cars, but nothing sets them apart for me. While a well done model '40 commands my attention. Just seems like a '33 is a step up in both taste and refinement of style. Now a '36 Roadster has the same effect on me, it's a progression. I do love them all don't get me wrong. But I'd much rather play on the 33rd side of the street.

I like them both, but I'd prefer a '34. This one:

As I was reading everyones post. I for some reason reverted back to the age old question. Are you a ***s or an A$$ man. I always say both.

  22. My vote is for the '33-'34. These cars are just plan cl***y. I'd love to build a older Bonneville stye car.

I gotta go with the 32. (surprise I know) The Deuce looks good in any form. Fenders, no fenders, chopped or not, hood or not etc. IMHO not so with the 33/34. I don't care for them as much esp. w/o hoods.

33 and 34 for me. However, I have always liked the original looking 32 Ford phaeton.

Yeah Danny your exactly right:but I really want a 33 in a bad way....love them model 40s...I am building a 36 five window right now and the whole time I am thinking about a 33 five window or 3 window...I know it's a sickness I don't think I will never over come I need help buddy or a 33!!!!!!!

  29. I'm really gonna piss off some people, but the 33/34 has to be the best stylin next to the 37 coupe. The 32 is a one off design, but a series upgrade, that's why they call it a "B" model? Really since the 32 is only a one year design is this the main reason that makes it rare? Would I like one? Yes, but my money went for the 34.

32's are cool but the '33 has the best complete automotive design ever IMHO.
    Cheers!
