I have a question about the SW wings gauges from the late 40's. Anyone know if the 3 3/8" 100 mph speedometer had curved gl***?

Yes, here's a pic of mine. As a general rule, the S/W gl*** was curved through '56. I believe the 100mph ones were mainly a truck thing.

We do find that many of the Stewart Warner 3 3/8 units have very subtly curved lenses, which is very hard to differentiate from flat gl***. That being said, over the years people go into gauges to service them, replace lenses, etc. We've seen just about everything from chewing gum to bailing wire in "repairs".
