Ahoy there! Though I've long been a spectator of many bimmer related forum, this is the first automotive forum I've actually posted in. I'm coming with no fabrication experience, but have an eagerness to learn, an appreciation of kustom culture, and an understanding that gaining experience and skill takes time. That said, a friend of mine from work pointed me in this direction while we were discussing my plans for a build of my (current ) dream machine. So far it looks like I've landed in the right place, based on what I've read on the message board. I look forward to meeting you all, and am excited to hear your advice/take part in discussions. Look for my first (super basic) question on the Hokey *** Message Board!
1954 Chevy or GMC COE, modified as a slick crew cab fire truck with with windscreen visor. Hard wood Cherry or Ebony deck, Grilling/Tailgating gear in leu of hoses, pumps, and such in the compartments. (Relatively) Modern drive train and running gear. Clothed in subtle flake charcoal or smoked apple red... mmmmm
Welcome from the south end of I-65. Since I just acquired a 51 GMC COE, we may have to swap notes as time goes by.
