Hey guys I have recently moved to the Huntsville, Alabama area and have heard about a show at Point Mallard Park in Decatur this Friday and Saturday, July 12-13. I believe it's called the Greater Tennessee Valley Antique Car Show. Anybody going? It'd be nice to meet some car people down this way. If you're going, look for me I'll be driving a blue Model A Tudor with red steelies and wide whites!

The local stock car races were called off due to electrical problems. So I attended and carried swap meet junk. Its a very good show. the place is a great place for a show. lots of shade. This is the show that was held at the general motors plant in Decatur Alabama, After the plant shut down the dedicated people who had made the show great would not let it die. I cant make it as I have 2 cars racing at the local round track. Have a good time.. One last thought its been raining a lot and the place is on the Tenn river bank so I hope its still on and not flooded.... Bobby...
Yeah that is a good concern. I'm going down to the Hard Dock restaurant/bar to watch a band play tonight so I'll make sure the waters aint too high. Good luck this weekend!
What a cool car show and swap meet! Bigger than I had expected and we had great weather. Got to meet and hang out with some cool people and will definitely be back next year! Well looks like the pics aint working. If I can figure out whats wrong I'll post some more
I set up in the swap meet area. I did not get much time to look around. Lots of Coffins {{Trailers}} with cars in them.. The swap meet was quite good by standards in this area. I almost sold every thing I brought. A long bed truck and a trailer made from a long bed truck. I saw the blue car as I exited it looked spot on perfect.. I saw several HAMB members some old friends.. The next close very good show is in Ardmore Tennessee/ Alabama. it is Aug 10 2013
