That would be awesome to see! I love old yards and hotrod0317 in our area there is rumors (not really they are true) of an all Mopar junk yard. There are 1000s of cl***ic to Muscle cars. I know the guy has a Superbird and a few HEMI cars. The yard belonged to his grandfather and now it is his and his brothers and they let no one on it. I stopped at his house when I drove by it years ago (25 Mopar Muscle cars in the yard) and as I was walking up the driveway to the house I was met with a shotgun lol. After a few minutes of talking he took me on a tour and he has some rare cars.

Oh the guy drives a 70 Roadrunner Convertible as his daily driver even in the snow.

 

We need to get together some time. I know if you go to some of these places you can easily get in and barter for parts. It just takes some imagination and usually an old car being brought by. Ive been in some cool closed yards asking for some pictures at a cool old barn or even just seeing an old restored car will be enough to get people thinking. Not only that I have friends that are into the muscle car era mopars and he is bringing some bad cars back to life stuff like you see on tv and worse.

I have the Buick motor just sitting in a shed waiting for you to come and take a look to see if you are interested. If it sits too long ill offer it up on here it should sell pretty quick.

The two brothers they wont sell anything. I have not talked to the one who held me at gun point in a few years but I can find him again. I have never been in the yard they have but what he had at his house I would really love to get into the yard.

I wanted to buy one of the 68 Roadrunners (12 in the yard) or one of the 68 GTX (5 in the yard). He had all B bodies in his yard and not an E body guy but did have a thing for A bodies as well. I was looking for E body challenger parts.

Also there used to be a guy with a garage on the back road from my house and in his garage is a 70 six pack Superbee that he paid 75 bucks for and it only has like 20 some thousand miles on it. He told an older lady that had it for sale it was worthless due to the crack in the windshield so she sold it to him for 75 bucks. He is kind of an *** too lol.

Gotta watch the guy with cars full of bondo but he may know of car parts for the Merc or have something on the lot.

We do need a time to get together and talk shop. School is keeping me busy and I'm hoping to be done soon!

 

Ive been to Donovans at one time he has a small show room in the back and actually has some nice cars and trucks in it. He supposedly has a cover car from the 50's on the property and I am going to try to see if I can get some pictures of it he mentioned wanting to sell it last year. If I am able to work a deal on selling the car for him I am going to put it up on here so it will get taken care of and put back on the road.

I know at one time he had a black 55-57 chevy 2-door and was asking 6k for it it was a pile of rust to say the least. There are a few places I know of around that have some old cars in junkyards but Im still trying to figure the area out and where all the old yards are.

 

Good deal you just got to watch that place and the work that has been done on it. My dads shop was right down the road right beside the Bar B Q Ranch.

I just got an email back the 54 Ford he has there he is wanting 1500 for it but the A frame rusted out. What is the frame?

There are some small out of the way places that used to have some good stuff. Towards New Market too has or had a yard called Frenches.
