Spent a few hours at the open house today, not near as long as I wanted to but I had other things I needed to do.
Here are some of the things I saw.

I'll bet we'll be seeing a lot of pictures of this for a while. I think the Munsters might have built something like this.

I got there at 8:45 and this is what the street looked like.

I made the mistake of parking here (the red & white Ford on the right and had to have three cars and a bike moved so I could leave. They couldn't have been nicer though when I asked to leave.

A few years ago at this show Mooneyes announced that the Holiday would be towing cars parked in their lot. I spoke with a guy parked there and he said someone came out from the bar and said they were going to tow cars today. Didn't see anyone getting towed though and their lot was full of cars from Mooneyes.

    Love the 50's Caddilacs.

    Sweet Chevy.

Spoke with the guy that owned this, said he drives it everywhere. The following two cars belong to his sons.

Gotta soft spot for 60 Impalas, I had one just after I got married, paid $150 for it and it looked almost as nice as this one.

Looks like a 54 Vicky with about a 54 Merc grill and 55 Chevy tail lights grafted on, really nice job and looked like it came from the factory like this.

There are some nice cars and bikes in the pictures. I wonder if any of the owners used Rustoleum and a roller to paint them. My guess is no.

That Indian replica is some good work. If you stare at it, it looks like the engine might be from one of those motorized bike kits they sell on Ebay That is some real craftsmanship.

I brought my '66 Biscayne out from Simi Valley. I had a ****ing blast. I sat and talked with Dean Moon jr. , Shugi? And Augie, we all just sat and ********ted. I was talking to Dean about being a very little boy and sticking Moon water decals on my models and thinking that name was cool because of the eyes. And then here I am in the shop, next to the molds for the parts, next to the machinery that built so much, talking to Dean Moon jr. You had to be in the moment to see how ironic that really was.
Oh and there was also an after party Bar-B-Que with Carne Asada and Tortillas.
