As promised, here are some photos of the bucks I made for the 23 T body. I may make a batch of these things one day. This is the buck for the cowl... and this is the one I made for the rear quarter... David
SWEET!!!! You get that much of a call for T parts? Will all of the stretching , shrinking and wheeling to form the cowl be featured in an up comming video or U Tube clip
Hi pimpin paint I made the bucks because I had the opportunity to copy the original panels above, I needed the scuttle buck to make a new one for the car above anyway. Another reason for having them is I thought I might include making one of these bodies on a DVD but I have not got around to it yet. I have all the patterns for all the other parts as well. David
Hey, All the blocking, wheeling, shrinking & forming necessary to form these panels would comprise a great video I'm gonna guess that the production of a video takes as long or longer than the production of the buck and panels The bucks look fantastic!
Thank you!. The bucks were made from what we call chip board, I think you call it particle board. They are fairly simple. It took several years of spare time work to make my DVD. David
Yes, he ran It in bare metal for a while but I think it is painted now. I did not like to lift the photo of the finished car from his profile. .. but he did say he would post some photos if it. David
Prompted by sko ford here's a few pictures of the car. Unfortunately I never got any pictures to show Dave's excellent work - it was a case of getting the body back from him and then assembling it in a rush to get to Germany for the Hot Heads East Headbanging event (that's were the picture sko ford posted was taken) . Then once home just never got around to getting pictures not even before painting it! I regret that now. Anyway here's a few pictures before the pick up was painted and how it looks currently finally here's a picture of the same running gear when it ran a plastic body and turtle deck. One day I'll get around to fitting the steel turtle deck behind the steel body as that's the look I prefer, it's just the pickup is so useful.

Al do you have any pics of just the running gear sans body? I must say I find this little rod very inspireing. Between davids metal work & the end result inspiring is the only word I have.
That was Nicky with a little help from me. I've gotta say she really impressed me as it is the first interior she's done, even making the tuck n roll from scratch.
Looks good! I may do my own, for my T, now I have a bit more space. I will have to get a sewing machine though. I learned trim at college but have not done it since. I used to enjoy it though. David
