I have changed my 51 ford deluxe from a floor mount master cylinder, to a firewall mount, What options are out there for a universal underdash brake pedal ***y.

This is not going to be a show car, it is a budget car and a play car.

Right now I have a pedal ***y from a 76 chevy c20 in there but its bulky as hell. would like something a little smaller profile.

CPP and Kugel sell various under dash and firewall ***emblies. Very simple.

If you're on a budget, then the late 90's Subaru Legacy master, and pedal ***embly works great. But it sounds like you've already purchased a master, and need a pedal ***embly to go with it.
I put the Subaru ***embly in my Austin when I built it, and it was only $35 for the master, booster, and the hanging pedal setup at pick n pull. I've gotten a couple more since thenn to use on builds, and they work great. Only drawback is the ugly plastic reservoir and cap, but I paint them black to make them less obvious. I also use an inline prop valve to the rear with a disc/drum setup.

Picked up a few 50's/60's pickup pedal and master ***emblies over the years from pull-a-part... simple, & easy to mount... think Ford went to hanging pedals in, what, 52?

Thanks for the replies all, I already had the master cylinder laying around after I parted my old truck out. Master cylinder was working when I pulled it off and immedietly mounted lines on it and filled it with fluid so it was not sitting dry for more than a few days.

I have a rod but no rubber boot for the MC, I am going to measure it this week and see if I cant find one that will fit, but was wondering if anyone had one they knew would work.

Thanks for the advice as well all. I will put them in my notes pile for any future builds.
