when you're a rock star, everybody wants a piece of you. kinda like New Kids On The Block when they were hot...
Well it seems since they don't care about asking permission, they could have chosen any car for the ad, and they chose yours so I guess its a compliment!
I have also emailed the guy before I saw all this. This is my email I am waiting for a reply and will post it. Bow down before the ROCKSTAR>>>>>>>>>>Shoe ME sent this: I am curious love the sticker but is the blue car for sale as I have been looking for one of them for years and love the look of your car.If not for sale can you give some info on what you have done to it and how it was built?I am gathering info, so if I cant find one I can build it myself Thanks
My question would be to thirtyfivepickup......what the hell were you doing looking at those stupid stickers in the first place.....huh???? Huh??? inquiring minds want to know!!!
i sent him a little bit o mail to you must be one heaping pile of lizard shit to put that lame ass sticker on a car like that
Here is the PM I sent to Nick..... I am the guy who posted the picture of your car on Ebay. I just wanted to let you know that I meant no offense by it and just simply liked your car. I wasn't even thinking that it might be a problem. I'm real sorry about that. After reading your posts, I see you had a similar issue. Sorry to hear that. I have removed the auctions from Ebay completely! I hope there are no hard feelings. I don't think the other guys on this forum will be too quick to forgive and forget. I hope we can just chalk this up as an honest mistake. I did take the picture at the Pile-UP in Morris. It was a great show and an impressive group of vehicles and people! There are some extremely creative folks out there and it seems the Kustom Kulture is finally growing in this area!! Take care...KKFOS
KKFOS, Thanks for posting your reply so quickly. Sounds like your are a standup guy. Hope you enjoyed us having some fun at your expence.
Sounds like an honest mistake and the guy did the right thing and even came on to say so. AND he has great taste in cars. Funny though.
I kinda feel bad now that he took the auctions down. Now my friends wont get to see. I didnt care, it made for a good story. Nick
I have to say that's awfully cool of KKOFS to come on here, amidst all this, and apologize. We've seen problems like this with ebay before and I think he's the first one to come on and try to square things up. Good for him
I say we buy a couple of stickers from KKFOS just cause we busted his balls...You gotta give him props for coming here and saying what he said.
Kudos to KKFOS for being a stand-up guy in realtion to his e-bay ad. I have had my car used numeous times trying to sell 55-57 Chevy restoration cd's by different people. Did manage to get a free cd for my trouble. The last time ebay didn't do a thing about it. Had to go to the hosting website that carried the picture. Nick it is a complimnet to have car shown to millions on the internet though
Here's his reply: "I wish the car was mine! I took the pics of it at a local car show. I have a few other pics of it if you want me to email them to you. There is a Rat Rod show every year and I get some bitchin pics!" He seems like a nice guy that just really admires the car. Can't blame him.
