Im in the process of kustomizing a -37 Nash Lafayette and would like some tips, tricks and good ideas from you guys. My car is a two door sedan, and up til now ivè been suiciding the doors, widened the rear fenders, attatched some -39 chevy headlights. I want to do something really kool with the grille, and change the taillights (they are cad -59 now) not that original.. So gimmie your best shot, please.

Btw. Was the nash cars independent, or part of one of the big ones?

Nash was an independent prior to WW2, your car is from its elegant era. Mechanically they were way ahead of Ford/Chev. Nash cars of the 30s were know for their performance. They never returned to their glory days after the war.

    Hey Lowlow,

Does your Nash still have the die cast grille intact? A serious piece
of die casting! Ya could always fab up a Westergard/LaSalle-like
    grille for the opening.
