Ok, what I have is 1933 5 window coupe doors that someone incorporated 34 door inner panels, the coupe is chopped but I don't know how much. I bought door gl*** run kits from Mac's for a 33. Any pics would be greatly appreciated of how the top of the front and back runs connect at the top of the door, front and back. Also the front run, does it only original go to the top of the door where you rest your arm or does it curve up the front to some point? I also got a piece of foam rubber, does that get glued in the top of the door frame? I hope I am clear on this.
does the car use 33 or does it have 34 regulators in it?,the 33 goes up snd down like a normal car,on the 34 the gl*** slides back into the frame at the rear, that is what the strip is for at the rear of the opening.i think the gl*** channels are pretty straight forward on those, post some pics to show what you have for parts, someone here will help im sure.I think you will need the 33 regs to make it work. Harvey
I"m not sure what my regs are but everything inside the door is 33, and I got the runs for 33 but they have a glue in foam rubber for the top and the transition from the felt to the foam does not seem right. Also the front has a very wide rubber and I think it may be unneseccery, I am thinking of going all felt runs from Restoration Specialities.
Are you sure you have the 33 felts?,the 34 has a wide strip at the back to let the gl*** move back, been a while since I did one,but don't remember anything weird about them, can you post a picture of what you have, that will help a lot. Harvey
