My brother rode up on his 39 knuckle head so we took some pics of it with my nailhead powered 49 merc.

Nice exhaust work on the knuckle. I also ran my front exhaust pipe around the front, that is a tricky bend down front. I don't recognize the cats eye dash, what year is it?

Congrats on building two nice rides.

    Called a skull dash, '36-'38.

I always ran a squish pipe on my '46 cause I liked to really lay that hardtail into the corners.

Gorgeous scoot. The Merc is certainly no slouch either.

  10. they're the same pipes as i have on my 47 knuckle i've got 4" extended from end

We see the Knucklehead, now open the hood on that merc so we can see the Nailhead.

x2! Checking out the header work, really clean. What power steering box are you running? Or is it a whole late model front clip.

Here is a better shot of the springer which has been extended using ford rear wishbones.

    Excellent photo.

That is really traditional (wishbones). How they did it in the old days.

I see he is running mechanical brakes like I had on my 38knuckle. Yea, can't stop, lots of downshifting and going around things. :)
